Riley, a Labrador/Pit mix met me
when he was about eight weeks old. He was just a cute little puppy but
was very ill as he had been tossed away in a river in Florida left to fend for
himself. That is staying away from alligators and other beasts who will
destroy a puppy like this in minutes. He is a survivor to this day (we
are still not sure how) and has issues with his health periodically. I
prefer to use as many holistic methods as I can find that will work.
He came to me for a
reason. He needed to be well cared for and loved unconditionally and that
is what he got! When a move to California happened and he was able to
play at the beach almost daily, he developed fleas that just would not go
away. As I was ready to do the unthinkable of giving him the once a month
flea medication that contains so many harmful ingredients, I heard Judy talk
about a product that had many purposes, and was no known to kill fleas.
An all natural product that would also kill fleas? It was very reasonably
priced so I tried it. (Green by GNLD/NeoLife)
One shower later, Riley was at
last comfortable. Just one. Now Riley looks forward to a weekly
shower (with a massage which he loves) and is flea free. The best thing
is I can wash his blankets with the same solution. I am determined to
give this wonderful, sweet and gentle dog anything that is healthy and keeps
